Terms of use
Last updated 25 July 2026
The account
An account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your password safe; we are responsible for storing it in a way that survives a breach — hashed with scrypt, never in plain text. Turn on two-factor authentication and keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
Fair use
Do not use this site or its API to attack, overload, or gain access to accounts that are not yours. Automated registration is not allowed; that is what the bot check is for. Accounts used for abuse are removed without notice.
The software
The apps are provided as they are, without warranty. They run on your machine and can read and write files you point them at — check what you run them on. Updates are installed automatically from our own update server so that security fixes actually reach you.
Availability
This is a small, self-hosted service. We aim to keep it up, but there is no uptime guarantee. Sign-in requires our server to be reachable; the apps themselves keep working on your machine.
Payments
Everything is free today. If paid plans are introduced later, existing accounts keep the plan they signed up on until you choose to change it, and nothing is charged without asking you first.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the account page will say so.
